I have a form to request blank media on a main sharepoint page that is in a web part. 

I am trying to change the form to include a new choice on the type people can request in a drop down menu. 

I have found the list that has all the information from the form in designer and added the new item I needed. 

I check the web part on the main page and the edits are not showing up. 

I have found the list on a sub page that matches the form I am trying to change, and the edits are made there. 

I tried to edit the main page to point at the list I edited, and it is the only one up there and the edits are not showing up.
