I have been using Visio 2010 for several years now. I have been recently working on a data-flow diagram with buttons that toggle certain layers off or on to change the display.

After working for many hours on the diagram and getting it to work correctly, I now am unable to get a reaction to pressing any of my buttons. (No pun intended.) The diagram opens with everything displayed in full view, but when I push a button, it will visually depress and pop back, but nothing happens.

If I attempt to execute a button-click event in the Immediate window I get a "Run-time error '32809'; Application-defined or object-defined error"

An old back-up version of the diagram works OK, but it is very old and I would have to redo a lot of work.
