Thank you for your patience.  If I'm understanding your question correctly, you are attempting to access the API by using a MS Live account or Microsoft Account (MSA) to authenticate.  Is that correct?  If this is the first time you are attempting to authenticate with the API using a MSA I suspect you are passing the username (MSA email address) and password in the SOAP header and the API is returning an authentication error.  If this is the case then you will need to implement the OAuth workflow that is described here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/library/dn277356.aspx
