For 2 years we using Windows Encoder 9 to stream live cameras (4) to our website using Windows Media format, and it works good for what we need. Now we would like to stream in H2.64 to get it working on iphone/ipad as well.

We already purchased Encoder 4 Pro thinking it will be easy do achive our goals. But now we are stock because i did some reading and find out we can not use Windows XP Pro to get it going. I did a little bit reading, but if someone can confirm it is possible to use Live H2.64 Smooth Straming on XP Pro I will spend more time to dig all information and try make it work.

I'm not certain where you heard that ENcoder 4 wont work on XP (SP3) but it will. It does require you to have .net 4.0 installed. Have you tried installing and doing a basic h.264 local encode? Are you running into any issues with that? As for setting up the poject, I assume you mean automate the capture. This would require some programming using the Encoder SDK. THere are number of samples and documentation that should help on that front.
