We have recently rolled out windows xp sp3 in our environment. Approx 400 laptops have been deployed with SP3. All our laptops are connected to a MS AD domain. when the SP3 computers connect to the LAN either by logging onto the domain or a local account they are able to connect to shared folders on other team members computers. These computers however once disconnected from the office LAN and connected via peer to peer networks are not able to connect to other SP3 computers but are able to access computers using SP2.

The issue is further compounded in that once you uninstall SP3 the computers are able to connect but if you leave SP3 on the computers and remove their domain profile the computers are able to connect.

could someone please assist.
