I am using Expression encoder 4 Pro. I want to use my Panasonic HVX200A to do live recording in 720p. The live input works fine in 480p but as soon as I try 720p I get that error message. How can I fix that ?

Hi Alex:

HDV mode (720p) is not supported in Expression. The only product on the PC I know of that does that is Wirecast. However, you could consider capturing the cameras component out. Averkey make an ExpressCard for this purpose that claims it is compatible with Expression Encoder. Or, you could use a Black Magic Intensity Pro Card. This feature is on the Expression Wishlist (90 votes) and gets my vote as I'm finding it increasingly hard to source SD DV Cameras + having a HD capability is critical in some of our webcasting scenarios.
