We are on Release Management 2015 for the server, deployment agents, and client. However this issue was also observed on rare occasion with Release Management 2013.

After a long period of up-time, and no issues, our systems will start to fail on random "Component" steps in the release. The error generated is "The specified network name is no longer available". There does not seem to be a pattern for server or component type.

I am able to access the share from the agent immediately after the failed deployment without issues. CPU/Memory/Network load are all low with no obvious issues.

I've tried restarting the RM Agents on these nodes but that doesn't appear to resolve the issue

You said "… this issue was also observed on rare occasion with Release Management 2013", do you mean that you observed this issue in both your RM 2015 and RM 2013?
