I've tried finding an answer on this one but haven't found anything solid. I want to set up a simple workflow in SPD that sends an email out when a new news event is posted. However, I want the recipients to be ALL users.

We have existing Security and Distribution groups in our AD which have the sufficient members, but I hear distribution groups are no good and I've had no luck with the Security groups either. The workflow just doesn't seem to be emailing people within the groups.

Hi Mike, I don't think it will be possible solely through the workflow. I'd suggest setting up an email box that is set to forward emails to all users. Will want to make the rule such that it only fires when email is from your SharePoint email address.
