My developers have been complaining that the emails, that used to be generated when a code review (CR) was created, are not being sent any more.  Some developers look to Team Explorer for CR requests of them, but others relied on getting the email when their name was in the list of reviewers.

I created an alert for when a CR changes and their name was on the list, to send them an email, but the response was that it was not the same email that was generated before.  While the emails come from the TFS service, it seems like there are different processes involved depending on if it is an alert or something out of "team explorer".
