Hi, I am currently using iview and don't know if I should switch over to this program.

Hi PhotoNYC,

That would take a script. We have one that copies annotations from one file to all the others with the same name but different extensions, or the exact same name but different folders. You could use that as a pattern, and also take some of the code from the vertical and horizontal file selection scripts, and combine them to get exactly what you need.

One caviate - the copy annotations code is broken on the Mac, and you need to modify it as described in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/968818.

I don't want to discourage you from purchasing Expression Media 2, since it's so much more stable, but you could even do that with your current iView product.
