Does anyone at Microsoft ever read the posts on this service?  I doubt it.  They never respond, and blindly keep on pushing their product features down our throats without ever thinking about potential problems or issues they impose in real software development environments.

Here is a classic example.  This problem is wide spread and serious, has never been acknowledged by Microsoft.

 When using MSBuild engine in a ClearCase Audit session (ClearAudit), the first compile starts the MSPDPSrv.exe process.  However, subsequent builds, which run under new ClearAudit shell sessions, will now use the persistent MSPDBSrv.exe service, and the PDB files they generate will not be properly audited because the MSPDBSrv.exe was not launched in the current session.  The only way to make this work is to manually kill the process after every build, which is extremely ugly and not reliable.
