在使用IE作为客户端向sharepoint服务器进行身份验证之后，将访问sharepoint文档.它以只读模式在MS Word中打开，顶部带有编辑"选项.当编辑选项被选择401由共享点发送并且它的错误列于MS字 
另一方面，如果将共享点cookie配置为非持久性，则共享点文档会在身份验证提示(这是第二次身份验证)中访问，并且文档会以编辑模式打开，我们可以在其中编辑并将更改签回到共享点.

below listed is the scenario.
1) sharepoint 2013 server is protected behind proxy server.
2) have configured form based authentication in sharepoint and sharepoint cookie is configured to be persistent.
after authenticating to sharepoint server using IE as client,sharepoint docs are accessed. it is getting opened in read-only mode in MS word with edit option on the top. when edit option is selected 401 is sent by sharepoint and it errors out at MS word.
on the other hand if sharepoint cookie is configured as non persistent, sharepoint docs access results in authentication prompt(this is second authentication) and docs are opened in edit mode where we can edit and check in the changes back to sharepoint.
what needs to be done to open doc with edit permission in MS word without extra authentication ?
