I know this is a developer forum, but all the good answers are found here :-).

Does the following still work in Word 2016:

* There is a Word template associated with a content type in SharePoint
* There are content controls in the template which are meta data fields from the content type

Can you in-place-edit these content controls in the document?
Can you have listbox content controls in the document that uses values from the meta data in SharePoint?
Can you save the document and get the meta data updated in SharePoint?
