Hello,

If we have scenario where multiple approvals are required for an item/document and also shuffle between states based on some business logic, I assume state machine workflow is the approach that needs be considered.

Question is, if the approval process takes a lot of time (i.e. approvers taking lot of time to respond to task) and considering that the workflow takes months or even years to get completed, will there be any significant performance issues on the server?
