Hello Guys,

I have issues on giving permission to promoted links + to its document libraries.  Please find screenshots below where I want to give read and write permission:

- I have a tile below and have given read permission.

- Inside the tile I have 3 document libraries:

I do not want that at this level users should be able to create new document. They should not have permission to create new document, its only inside the document library that they should be able to create folders.

- I have created a group A and have assigned users name to it. This group has read and write permission.

I have given group A permission to the tile and at this level users are able to create document libraries where they should not have this option.

If I changed the permission level of group A from read-write to only read and give this permission to the tile

And when I changed the permission from read to write to the first document library 'Admin', user are not able to write, they are only able to read.

What should be done in such cases?

Hi,

You give the group A only read permission and in each document library , you stop inheriting permissions and add the write permission (to access to this option: settings-> permissions for this document library)
