I have a Hive LLAP cluster on HD Insight with :
- 2 headnode DS13v2
- 8 workernode DS14v2
- 3 zookeeper node A3
My cluster is on North Europe Region and only DS series are available but the technical team could may be provide us H series and ESv3 series.
I would like to have more details about all different configuration (G, H, E, ….) :
- Server (Dell, HP, …)
- model
- CPU
- Memory (DDR4, Quantity, Frequency, Latency, …)
- disk (NVMe, ... ?, IOPS, Transfert rate, …)
- Bus
- Network (infinyband))

解决方案Azure HDInsight is available on more virtual machine types and sizes, choose compute resources based on the solution you plan to deploy. The following VMs are used for HDInsight clusters:
- A and D1-4 series VMs: General-purpose Linux VM sizes
- D11-14 series VM: Memory-optimized Linux VM sizes
For more details, refer "Azure HDInsight – Configure cluster size"
HDInsight can utilize the following:
- A2 to A7 sizes that are built for general purposes
- D-Series nodes that feature solid-state drives (SSDs) and 60-percent faster processors
- A8 and A9 sizes that have InfiniBand support for fast networking
For more information, please visit HDInsight pricing webpage.
By default, HDInsight cluster cores within a subscription is 60 cores, if you want to increase, create a Quota support case as mentioned; "Resource Manager vCPU quota increase requests".
Currently above mentioned sizes are available, regarding other sizes I would request vote up an idea submitted by another Azure customer.
All of the feedback you share in these forums will be monitored and reviewed by the Microsoft engineering teams responsible for building Azure.
