I have created few variables in Azure automation and need to use this variables in DSC , so that i no need to change this values every thing value change .

I have writen code to to log an event in event log using all possible options as shown below, currently i see event are logged in event log but with no value of variable.

1) how can i use a azure variable in Azure script resource module of DSC.

2) i see we need to use $using: to pass value to script resource, i.e. by default all workflows will be converted in to inlinescript in DSC ? we cannot use any of powershell workflow feature like foreach -parallel ?
