I have an eCommerce website that serves a small business. Customers are asking for a mobile app. I built the website myself (html, javascript, VB.net, ASP.net) and I'm constantly tweaking it as we are a new concept and sort of feeling our way forward. I'm not really a programmer - I just taught myself what I needed to know to get what I needed. I know nothing about apps so any info is helpful.
Some fundamental questions I have:

Hmm yes you will need 2 seperate apps for Android and Iphone becouse Iphone app is written in Objective C language on Apple platform with Xcode and is hosted on AppStore. The Android app is written in java on Eclipse for example and is hosted on AppMarket. To make changes to a complete app is not that easy if you are not fimiliar with the programming language itself.
