Dear All,
I want maintain a "Rate" table against Product Table. My Rate table can have many data against one product, depending on effective date range (One to Many). I want at a time there should be only one product in rate table which should be active. If there are any previous entries, then those should be inactive for same product.
How should I proceed.

I understand your point, but my wish is, when I''ll maintain new record for any material, then system should check any previous entry for same material, and then set the ''end date'' as the current date for that previous record.
