So far, I made the form a pop-up and the report a preview so that both are
visible. The form is really small so it works.
However, it would be much better if I could tile the report and the form
vertically where the form takes up about 5cm and the report the rest of the

Perhaps embed the Report in the Form as a sub form/report?

I tried that, but it seems that only reports can be embedded as subreports
and forms only as subforms. We are mixing here, that is a subreport in a
form does not work
I think I need to set the size of each window or something like that, but I
am not sure how.

Hmm, ok.
The next question I have is "why?". Why do you need both open at once?
Can''t you put the control of your form on the report? (Haven''t tried it
myself:)
You can manually size them and press Ctrl-S to save the position (if
they are not dialogs/modal/etc)....?
