这条消息什么都行不通！甚至没有开始菜单！我有 winxp pro 和 mcafee antivirus ！

Have you looked in McAffee''s Control Panel to make sure the LiveUpdates are connecting and installing? Have you manually run a scan recently?
I would start there, or next time it happens, try pulling up TaskMgr (Ctrl+Shift+Esc), and running explorer as a new task - see if you get your desktop back (though I''d start with the above first - this is more just a temporary workaround that might not work anyway!)

I''ve seen a number of these associated with Windows Update problems. To test, open the Security Center in the Control panel, select "Automatic Updates" and disable it.
Then run services.msc and find Autotmatic Updates there, double click to change its configuration, set it to "disabled" and reboot.
If you stop having these svchost.exe errors you will need to install all pending updates manually. Then reenable what you disabled. Do this anyway if it has no effect.

I would definitely try this first - as I have said, the Recovery Console might do damage to personal data/other programs.
(And thanks sas I never would have thought of that being associated with Windows Update.)
