we have mdb running on windows xp and access 2003, we have several users on our network, but now only one user can access our mdb at the same time.

once one user is logged in and no other user can log in (clicking on the file name nothing happens), however from the server computer it will open direct from the harddrive not thourgh the network it makes no difference if anyone is on the network or not.

In Tools - Options is the Default Open Mode set to Shared or Exclusive. It should be set to Shared in a multiuser environment.

I do recall changing from opreating system from 2000 to xp some time ago, maybe 2 users have not been in at the same time since.

i logged my computer into mdb today and then logged my laptop into mdb, both computers openned and logged into the mdb. however i logged my laptop into the mdb and then tried to log my computer in, and nothing happens

both computers access the mdb from the network
