Should work, assuming you downloaded a supported DB2 runtime version. You
didn''t identify the DB2 client version or the XP version (home or
professional). You also need to ensure that TCP/IP has already been
configured on the system. If all of this is OK, and I can''t tell as you
posted no details, the next thing to do is look in the installation log that
the DB2 client installation created to see what it says.
It''s also possible your download was incomplete or corrupted - the log
should hae a suitable message.
