I am unable to download and install JDK on my laptop for some strange reason. When i download it using the orange button that says "Download Using Sun Download Manager" it downloads but when i double click it to install it says "javaws.exe" has encountered a problem and needs to close. Were sorry for the inconvenience.
It says no matter what. I''ve tried completely removing Java from my system and reinstalling, but it will not work. If i click directly on the link instead of using the orange button, it will download and then when i double click it to install it comes up with the same error message except instead of saying javaws.exe it lists the whole file name.
Can someone help because i need JDK on my system!

Yes, and i have tried downloading it from other sites as well. I get the same problem every time.

After you went through the platform and language selection choices did you select the licence agreement and click the '' jdk-6u14-windows-i586.exe'' link? That should work ...
