I developed a quiz using the report format in Access 2003. I wanted teachers to input their names to appear on the report. When I try to do this using an unbound text box, it does not work. I created a text box and tried to use the source control. I get an #error on the printer view. Any help would be appreciated by me and my colleagues. Thanks.

1. Create an Unbound Text Box in the Report Header.

I couldn''t get that dog to hunt, ADezii! I get the same error the OP reported when he tried essentially the same thing you advised him to try. What I did get to work is to create a field in a report''s underlying query named [Enter Teacher Name] that will give you the desired prompt when the report is run. What am I missing in your code?

Strange, linq - I duplicated the process on a couple of PCs and no problem getting it to work. Don''t really have an answer to this one.
