I would like to create an appointment book in visual basic as a stand-alone program that you don''t need any Office programs loaded. I don''t need any code just some ideas on file setup for saving the appointments on a daily basis.

I am looking for suggestions seting up the project. I have created the form that has the times of the day setup in 1/2 hour increments with text boxes for each time increment. I''m not sure in what format to save the daily appointments in.
