oft designed for troubleshooting (kind of). Its purpose is to have Windows running without any of the extraneous stuff that gets loaded with it. That way, if something got onto your machine or you installed something that went awry, you can go into this mode and unload it.

To have something "auto load" in this mode would complete defeat its purpose. You should only really boot into this mode if you REALLY need it. Your drivers and such for things like video don''t even auto load. Anything you want to run will have to be manually started.

what numberwhun said is correct, but you might be able to still login if you boot into safe mode with network connections...but be careful since your in safe mode whatever you use for security may not be working correctly or not at all.
