Hello everyone,
Well I decided that I had to learn how to do database, the subject facinated me and I am totally hooked.
I am following a scenario from a book called "database projects in Access for advanced level"
I''ve been doing fine. all my queries are working, I can add information to them so I thought everything was going fine, for my first attempt.
then I seem to have hit a slight problem.

I created a form from a query, its a driving school scenario and i took a working query lesson cost and developed the form.

when i come to add a combo box the wizard doesnt open and i get a message saying its unbound?
so something is obviously wrong? I can find no help in the book about what the problem is so though i would come here to the experts.

I know this is probably a very simple issue, but please help me to learn more.

sorry all I am very new to database.
I have created a form using a query.
I am trying to add a box to drop down and show id numbers of students or instructors.
its so much information to take in at the moment. think I will need years to learn all of this.

any suggestions on other good books that I might find useful or some good basic links.

I am alright creating tables adding input masks stuff like that.
I get a bit lost creating tables in SQL so thought i would back track a bit and start from scratch.

its an amazing subject.
