Hello again. I posted yesterday about dynamically linking tables based on user log in and ended up decided it wouldn''t work very well for multiple users. My head of IT insists that everyone should be logging in to one central database so I decided to open the appropriate front end based on username. I got the coded to work for opening the Database I want, but no sooner than it''s up it closes it again. What''s am I doing wrong? Here''s the code I''ve been using:

Im using different code to open an external database and the workgroup to be used is hardcoded. So if you''re using workgroup, I believe you have to define it.

I would reset the appAccess as above but I would guess that''s not your problem. What code is running in the startup form of the database?

The database that opens doesn''t have any code on startup. It''s more or less just opening a blank database to see if I could do it so I can apply it to another application.
