I need to get crystal reports 11.5 working on WIN10. Our app currently runs on WIN7 with no problems. I am being told this isn't possible by the crystal report support folks. Is there a way to get crystal reports 11.5 supported on WIN10? If not, does anyone know what is the easiest transition path with the least amount of compiler change? This app consists of a VB6.0 database/ui and msvc 2005 support libraries. Might there be any good crystal report replacement software out there?

Nothing yet other then inquiring with crystal reports support.

You use a bunch of outdated tools with the old CR, VB 6 and VS 2005. You really should move to more modern versions.

The only solution I see is to use some virtual machine, or a server client architecture.

You should convience your employer or contractor to use more modern tools also to protect it investment in the software. Some replacement for Crystal Reports. Never ferget: all tools have some issue. ;-)
