Hello,
I'm 26 year old construction engineer, right after school. I use multiple modelling programs like tekla, autocad etc. etc. I used to learn some basic C++ or C# in the past for half a year in school but I don't really have any significant knowledge on this subject.
I thought to myself, I'd like to learn how to write programs especially for AutoCad/Tekla etc. I've seen it uses .NET but I don't really know what it means and how to plan the journey. Could you give me some advice on what books should I go through so that I don't waste my time on roaming on unnecessary subjects?
I know that I can grab any book on C# or VB.NET but is this a good way with construction software as my end goal? Is there sth I should know of?

I've tried C# and C++ in school but it was long ago and i bet I have to learn from scratch. I browsed through pages connecting AutoCad and programming topics but all it says is pretty dark magic for me.解决方案What kind API (Application Interface) does Autocad use that you will be "programming for"?
