I am making a video player in vb.net using mediaelement in WPF But it can't load subtitle so I want to show subtitle in front of the media element. But i dont know how to read the format of a .srt file in VB.NET. So could you help me.

What I have tried:

I tried to place a textbox under mediaelement but i dont know how to change the text according to the time and how to show the text at the current time of the video. Sorry for my bad english.
