Hello everyone, Being a dot net developer I'm working on asp.net MVC and angularJs project, and I just want some experience on mobile apps too, so for that, I'm thinking to learn Xamarin (not because its a cross-platform but because I can use my C# skills for this). Now, I just want to know that whether it will be good to have some knowledge of mobile apps.

I will say that it depends on the project that you are working on. If it's simple mobile application it will be good to use Xamarin.Forms because it helps you use the same code to ship multiple applications (iOS, Android, and Windows).
Otherwise, if you are working on complex applications that require the mobile OS APIs, it will be better to use Xamarin.iOS or Xamarin.Android but still worst that using the native frameworks, Swift for iOS and Java for Android because native is always better especially talking about performance.
