I'm keeping some data as xml(some master entries) in my windows application which is developed in .net.

Usually, we provide the exe to the testing team. They do some entries in that particular version and save in XML file. When they install the new version, the data will be lost and new empty XML will be generated.

How can I reinstall without affecting the existing data?

How can I tackle this situation?
