We can't tell you: we have no idea what your queue is, where you are storing it, how you store it, what hardware you are using.

Power failures are hardware events: you can't "code round them" with software as when the power fails, the software stops running. To recover gracefully, you need to design your your whole system to be fault tolerant, and to recover when restarted - and we have no idea what your system is. If the power fails halfway through a save, what do you do to recover from that?

Me? I use a UPS to mitigate the short power failures, and to notify me so I can do an ordered shutdown and recovery operation. If your queue is that important to you, you might want to consider that route.
