We aren't the people to ask: you need to start with the scanner and find out how to access it's information in your app. So start with the manufacturer and their website and see what you can find.
We don't even know what this scans, or how it connects to your PC: probably barcodes and if so probably it emulates a keyboard (but that can usually be changed).
So find out what it does, how it does it, and then start thinking about what the data it gives you means to your app, and how that applies to the database you are going to be using.

But at the moment, you don't have anything resembling a project for us to help with!
