Hello,

I am new to android development platform, I wanted to know if Android API supports controlling the sound balance (from left to right, and otherwise) when headphones are plugged on the device. In other words, am I able to mute left headphone (with button tap), meanwhile I let the right one play the sound? Does it depends on phone manufacturer?

What I have tried:

I've never tried to do this before. posted this in another forum but I got no answer for days.
