Well, first of all... if you're starting a new Android project, you should probably use their IDE, Android Studio[^](based on JetBrains' IDE), instead of Eclipse.

As to learning how to develop in Java for Android, well it certainly is different than Java for a desktop platform but there are a bunch of examples online, so just pick one and start coding!
