While you can do this - and Jochen is right, there are loads of tutorials Google can find - it's not necessarily the best way. If you want to learn it properly, go on a course - a real human can change his explanation if it's obvious that you don;t understand correctly, which an online tutorial can't. If you can't get a course, get a book - Addison Wesley do very good ones, as do Wrox - and follow it from start to end doing all the exercises.

But an online tutorial is probably going to be my someone who thinks they know the subject (but probably doesn't) and has little or no skill in passing knowledge on - teaching is a complex skill and hard to master.

.NET Book Zero, by Charles Petzold[^] is a good starting point.

I can't think of anywhere better than MSDN itself, there are a lot of tutorials that I haven't even read all of them myself. :laugh: You can continue from MSDN, then read the links provided, also do visit the "See also" resources. You will find yourself occupied for at least 6 months. :-)

As far as CHill60's comment is concerned, I got him covered: Downsides of Learning {programming-language} in {x} Days![^] (Just personal views). Indeed, do not learn anything in a haste, learning a language takes time. Learn it from the actual developers, Microsoft, then continue to tinker with the language, experiment with stuff and find out new things. Ah, yes, did I mention that if you get into trouble during experimentation you can always come back to CodeProject and ask a question? We'd love to help you, though. :-)
