I have seen this post related to data recovery based on NTFS Undelete Software which was really interesting, the issue here is that I am not able to edit it, I want to change some things, the software it´s just amazing.

The project is obsolete. I managed to open the project usual Visual Studio 2013 Community Edition, which is free of charge, but it won't build, need fixes.

Most likely, fixing it is quite possible, but I doubt that it makes sense for your to deal with that. The fact that you did not even know what to use suggests that you don't have required minimal software engineering experience and knowledge. Learning this field on some others' project, even perfectly working, is not a good idea. You need to educate yourself in a regular way instead.
