Check your database, and make sure that your data is exactly what you think it is.
If you have inserted the data by concatenating strings (which is extremely dangerous) then the quote character will terminate the string and you will find the DB values are shorter than you expect.

If that isn't the case, we'd need to see the exact code you use to pull the data from your DB and display it on you page.
