I need to create a web page in asp.net which would basically show a floor map of the office and all the desks present. It should be interactive as in, on mouse hover it would show a particular desk information that is retrieved from database.

One option that I have is to use div s , but that would be too cumbersome a method and also not something that would look very nice and catchy. Also ImageMaps are something that i want to avoid.

What should be the way forward to create an interactive floor map or image.
