years ago i designed a corporate tool consisting of a sql server 2008 database as backend and an ms access 2007 project file as frontend.

now i build a wpf/c# application using visual studio 2013 to replace that ms access 2007 tool.

one of the task is to redesign all the existing ms access reports. they are pretty simple - a logo, texts, images, subreports etc.

building a wpf/c# application using visual studio 2013 is a new technology for me. nevertheless i managed to add a 'report.rdlc' item and 'reporthost.xaml' item (it contains 'windowsformshost' that references 'report.rdlc') to my project. i made it working - report is being filled with data. but it does not look like a report at all !

i do not understand how to use report designer (within visual studio 2013) to make my report look like a report. could you please suggest me an article/text/link/walkthrough a beginner could start with to get familiar with that visual studio 2013 report designer.
