I want to implement an android application that will accept push notification from server. I am completely new to mobile development and I don't know where to start. Due to google search result, I know that this can be done using websockets. But in visual studio, when I try to install Websockets through NuGet, they said Websocket is stopped developping and should use SignalR. Is there any step-by-step turorials to setup SignalR in both IIS (C#) and android (Native)? I know that Xamarin can do this easily and I found their turorials. But I need this to be done with native Android (Later will be iOS).
