I'm in my second semester computer science student barely passing my first with a 70. The class itself is not that hard, it's just these program assignments. I just don't know where to start or how to solve these problems. I'm suppose to make a magic square with equivalent diagonals. I just can't seem to wrap my mind around it. I'm working alone as our tutor labs aren't very helpful and neither is the professor, and simply because I would just like to learn everything on my own, because there will be no one there to help me for the test or if I have a job interview where they want me to write code.

That being said I'm stuck where I am at for another semester since it takes 6 months to change your major, and I cannot drop any courses without losing my major. So I have to duke it out and try to pass with at least B.

I put the tag as C++, because that is what I am learning at the moment.
