In php how do i get get username of the client side instead of the server side info?

I have tried everything include shell_exec but no luck. Any info wil be greatly appreciated.

You'll Have to be more specific, I'm not really understanding the question. User information is stored on the server. PHP doesn't do anything on the client as it's a server scripting language. The simple thing to do that I can think of is to create a simple function that gets the username from the database and stores it into a local variable that can be used later on.

Without a clearer question, this is All I can think of.
