I Have a question I hope some one can give me a hint on what to do i have an azure server that has an iis 8 server installed in it i know how to assign multiple port numbers to different sites in iis 8 what i need to know is how to make them accessible from outside the server using the public ip.

This issue has been solved for any one out there who just needs to run multiple site on one VM using Windows Azure using port numbers the following are the steps that you will have to follow:

1. first set up you site under iis and assign it a port number like 1234
2. open the vm's firewall and create an inbound rule to this port
3. finally you will have to create an endpoint for this port number.
