rvt file format is proprietary of Autodesk, so there is no public documentation of its exact inner format. It of course make it almost impossible to write some library to read it...

Since .rvt file format is proprietary, binary (and it looks there aren't specifications available) I doubt you can get meaningful info from it without using one of tools specifically developed to open it.
