I was thinking of coming up with a program in c++ where a user id number is entered in a database along with his name and few details.Now, when he uses the system again , his id is being scanned to match the id number which is already stored in the database. Then the program gives the results.
I have a basic understanding of c++ but i have no idea about using databases. I would like to know what kind of database can i use for this particular system. I want to create this program using c++. So, please can anyone give me some suggestions.
