I want to drag some buttons and text boxes and what not, to my C++ form from the toolbox.
but alas, there are no controls there. where are they?
If I am working with a C# form, I get all the controls, but not C++.
anybody have an idea?

It seems that the folks at Micro soft are encouraging developers to use C# and VB to build GUI forms. and steer us away from C++. thus there is no selection for a new project for a Windows Forms Application. In this same frame of mind, the controls might not be automatically loaded.
but you can select a limited number by right clicking on the toolbox, and doing a 'Choose Items'.
at least that is what I have found, so far.

these have been there in previous versions of Visual studio, but not 2013.
